Firm Settles Family Feud Property Matter

Our firm successfully negotiated a complex family property dispute involving approximately 1150 acres of prime Texas hill country land. The hotly contested dispute involved a multitude of complex property related issues, including a series of deeds, gift deeds and promissory notes dating back to 1982, easements and maintenance thereof, the use of farm equipment, a quarry operation, and a family limited partnership. Following 2 rounds and 20 hours of mediation, the 7 parties involved agreed to ownership percentages, with division lines to be drawn by an independent commissioner.
